Havana Club Rum Miniatures
The origins of Havana Club rum go back to the year 1878. Don Jose Arechebala, an immigrant from Spain opened the ‘La Vizcaya’ distillery on the island of Cuba. It continued to flourish and by the early 20th century, the company diversified its
products. With the help of modern equipment, the company prospered even more with large fermentation areas, warehouses and every necessary facility and means to produce and store refined and raw sugar, jams, syrups, alcohols and molasses. The company also houses a refinery, a distillery, and an export freight terminal.
Havana Club Anejo Especial is special aged rum for 5 years in oak barrels. The rum base is blended with fresh sugar cane distillate called ‘ron fresco’ to prepare Havana Club Anejo Especial rum. The rum has a light amber colour with a bright gold sparkle. It contains a smooth vanilla taste with subtle notes of honey, oak and fruits. It can be enjoyed neat or mixed in a variety of cocktails like Cuba Libre, Daiquiri, and Cuban Pina Colada.
